Today as I taught the UNDERGROUND KIDS for the last time i had mixed feelings. I love those kids they have an deep spot in my heart.
I love kids and one of my greatest desires is to see kids worship and obey God abandondly.
I am grateful more than anything today. I had the opportunity to minister and love these kids, know there families, schools,friends. I love the kids of Hamtramck. I am so honored GOD chose two people that were once sideline people and this past year have lead kids in our city to the greatest decisions of there lives-JESUS.
Were we qualified?? – heck no. MY husband graduated at age 24 and me with a 7th grade math level.
We were nothing more than everyday people.
I am so grateful those are the people God chooses.
GOD uses ordinary people- and makes them the greatest leaders of all time-MAX LUCADO
SO instead of being sad I’m glad. GOd chose me and my husband for this work and were not quiting-THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!!!!!
As we journey with some great leaders to new territory i know GODS gonna do even greater things. much like the disciples, they werent so great when they were first called but by the end they were some of our greatest heros of all time.
I wanna be one of those people- God has so much planned right now i can do nothing but thank him. And continue to love and serve with a more open heart.
DO i have the answers for whats all going through my head right now- heck no.
but as im reading the bible and learning I can only say this
GOD doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called

“Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given then sink yourself into that”
No matter what or where God has or is calling me and my husband
Im digging myself wholeheartedly into that!!!!
I love reading and rereading the book of Acts. It gives us the best model for the way we should be as the church. But you know what bugs me most as i read???
The very fact that we can read it and desire to be so much like it, yet so many churches and Christian’s are out there being just the opposite. WHY????
Why be the thing we dislike, why be just like the fakers????
As i read tonight the story of Stephen, as he recalls the past prophets who lived out amazing faith i was reminded. So many people that looked on these people with great respect, later lost the faith. Why???
Where they fake Christians from the beginning??
Why???
It gives me honor to serve the people i do and also check my own heart.
I never want to serve, or live even a moment for anyone else- I never want to be a fake, someone who turns there back so quickly. I wanna be a Stephen at all costs, I believe that means a constant heart check, going to God and asking him what in me needs change. How can I always strive to live more of the way Christ wanted us as the church to be??
God help me to always live out what you created for me to be. Amen

Its crazy how a bible verse can rock your life again and again. That’s what this verse is doing right NOW!!!!
My Life is insane :: Newly married, Moved-Moving again, Husbands in military, ill Mother in Law, War week, AIM, Work, working on transfer, thursday tutoring,Ministry planning, and chillin with people. Am I saying this feeling overwelmed???? NOPE! I love it, its exciting, and it refreshes and reminds me in the busy times that God has an Awesome plan. Plus I live the greatest life imaginable and live in the best city every.
